"China Refuses to Supply Aircraft Parts"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] CNN reported on the 10th (local time), citing Russian local media, that China has refused to supply aircraft parts to Russia.
According to the report, Valery Kudinov, Director of the Aircraft Internal Components Department at the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, stated through the Russian Interfax news agency, "China has refused to supply aircraft parts to Russia." He explained, "We will try to procure parts through countries like Turkey and India," adding, "Each company is negotiating independently."
Earlier, the world's largest aircraft manufacturers, Boeing and Airbus, both decided to suspend the supply of aircraft parts to Russia. Boeing stopped purchasing Russian titanium on the 7th and also closed its office located in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Titanium is an essential raw material for manufacturing passenger and military aircraft, and Boeing has sourced one-third of its titanium from Russia.
