Fire at Sock Manufacturing Factory in Pocheon... 1.8 Billion Won Property Damage
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] A fire broke out at a sock factory in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, causing property damage worth over 1 billion won and was extinguished after about four hours.
According to the fire authorities on the 10th, the fire occurred around 2:50 a.m. at a sock manufacturing factory in Soheul-eup, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi Province.
There were no casualties from the fire, but three factory buildings, 300,000 pairs of finished socks, and 150,000 kg of yarn were burned, resulting in property damage estimated at 1.8 billion won (according to the fire station).

The fire authorities plan to investigate the cause of the fire through an on-site inspection.
