Forest Authorities, Mopping Up Residual Fires and Monitoring Rekindling
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] A fire broke out on a mountain in Buknae-myeon, Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, and was extinguished in about 30 minutes.
According to the Korea Forest Service and fire authorities on the 10th, the fire started around 3:19 PM on a mountain in Buknae-myeon, Yeoju.
The authorities deployed 4 helicopters, 28 pieces of equipment including pump trucks, and 97 personnel, and extinguished the fire around 3:54 PM.
There were no casualties, and currently, mop-up operations and fire watch are underway.
