Hyosung Donates 300 Million Won in Relief Funds for Wildfire Victims
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Hyosung announced on the 10th that it has donated 300 million KRW in emergency relief funds to the Korean Red Cross to support residents suffering from the large-scale wildfires that occurred in Uljin, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Samcheok, Gangwon-do.
This donation was jointly prepared at the group level by Hyosung and its major business affiliates: Hyosung TNC, Hyosung Heavy Industries, Hyosung Advanced Materials, and Hyosung Chemical. Hyosung's donation will be used for the restoration of the affected areas and relief supplies for the disaster victims.
Chairman Cho Hyun-joon said, “We extend our condolences to the residents affected by the sudden wildfire,” and added, “We hope the damage will be restored as soon as possible.”
