Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae 'Priority Welfare Issues Project' Funding Delivered to 10 Locations
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Nodongil, Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 10th that it has delivered 200 million won in welfare project funds to 10 social welfare facilities and institutions selected for the 2022 ‘Priority Support Project for Welfare Issues.’
The first Priority Support Project for Welfare Issues, which began accepting applications and announcements in January, selected a total of 10 sites through document and on-site evaluations in February.
A total of 200 million won will be provided for projects such as reinforcing and renovating welfare facility functions, supporting island elders, and programs for people with developmental disabilities.
Nodongil, Chairman of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, said, “We hope that reinforcing and renovating the functions of aging facilities will provide a safe living environment for users,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to respond quickly to urgent welfare needs.”

Meanwhile, the Priority Support Project for Welfare Issues, started by Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae in 2019, is a project that supports resolving difficulties in securing welfare resources occurring in the social welfare field and establishing a rapid response system for urgently needed welfare demands. Following this first support project, a second project is scheduled to be conducted in May.
