Police: "No Connection to Crime"
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] An active police officer was found dead in a residential area in Seoul, and the police are investigating.
According to the Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul on the 8th, Sergeant A (35), affiliated with the Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul, was found dead in the parking lot of an officetel in Seodaemun-gu on the 5th. The police reportedly found a suicide note from A at the scene. A police official stated, "There was no connection to any crime," and added, "We concluded the case, believing (A) took an extreme measure."
