COEX Appoints Lee Dong-ki as CEO and President
3-Year Term Until March 2025
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] On the morning of the 8th, COEX held a board of directors meeting and a general shareholders' meeting, announcing the appointment of Lee Dong-gi, former Head of the Innovation Growth Division at the Korea International Trade Association, as the new CEO and President.
Lee's term will last for three years, until March 2025.
Born in Seoul, Lee graduated from Deoksu Commercial High School and earned a degree in Economics from Sungkyunkwan University. He joined the Trade Association in 1992 and has held positions such as Director of International Cooperation, Director of Planning and Coordination, and Head of the Innovation Growth Division.

The board stated the reason for his appointment as follows: "He is an expert who combines practical experience and theory to strengthen the competitiveness of the MICE industry, having led the Innovation Growth Division and promoted MICE startup development and digital transformation."
