Delivery of Essential Goods Packages Worth 10 Million KRW to 'Women and Children Aging Out of Protection' in Gangseo-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Home&Shopping (CEO Kim Ok-chan) announced on the 8th that it has provided financial support to women and children aging out of care facilities in Gangseo-gu in celebration of 'International Women's Day.'
Home&Shopping donated 10 million KRW to the Gangseo Hope Sharing Welfare Foundation. The donated 10 million KRW will be used to deliver essential item packages to help 'women and children aging out of care facilities' who are scheduled to leave the facilities upon turning 18 prepare for independence.
Since 2020, Home&Shopping has also continued its social contribution activity of delivering 'Pink Boxes,' which support hygiene products for vulnerable female adolescents from disadvantaged families. To assist growing female adolescents who face economic difficulties in purchasing essential items such as sanitary pads, the company has provided quarterly packages containing a one-year supply of feminine products including sanitary pads, cleansing products, and women's underwear to a total of 100 female adolescents.
