bhc, HMR 'Dakgaseumsal' Cumulative Sales Surpass 600,000 Units
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] bhc's HMR product ‘bhc Dakgaseumsal’ (chicken breast) has surpassed cumulative sales of 600,000 units.
bhc announced on the 8th that an analysis of sales trends for 16 types of chicken breast products launched at the end of July last year showed cumulative sales reached 600,000 units as of last month.
The best-selling product was Bburinkle Dakgaseumsal, with a total of 120,000 units sold, followed by Matchoking Dakgaseumsal (100,000 units) and Mapster Dakgaseumsal (80,000 units).
bhc analyzed that the high sales volume was due to consumers' strong interest in chicken breast known as a healthy food, combined with the synergy effect with bhc Chicken’s signature menus such as Bburinkle and Matchoking, where various chicken sauces blend well with chicken breast.
bhc has focused on the rapidly growing HMR market driven by the increase in single-person households and the spread of consumer trends seeking convenient meals, entering the HMR market in February last year by launching ‘Changgo43 Wang Galbitang’, ‘Changgo43 Eotang Kalguksu’, and ‘Changgo43 Someorigomtang’.
