Democratic Party Gwangju Branch and Election Committee Dispatch Volunteer Personnel to Uljin and Samcheok Wildfire Sites
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Democratic Party of Korea's Gwangju Metropolitan City Party and the 20th presidential election campaign committee are dispatching relief supplies and volunteer personnel to the areas affected by large wildfires in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, and Samcheok, Gangwon-do.
Currently, due to the wildfires in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, and Samcheok, Gangwon-do, an area equivalent to 49 times the size of Yeouido has been burned, and President Moon Jae-in declared the affected areas as special disaster zones yesterday.
In response, the Democratic Party's Gwangju City Party discussed support measures for the wildfire-affected areas and decided to dispatch volunteers and relief supplies.
