Jeonbuk Imsil-gun, Promoting Customized Green Space Projects for a Green City
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, is promoting customized green space projects to create a green city where nature and people coexist.
The county announced on the 7th that this year, it is investing a total of 1.35 billion KRW in landscape creation projects, actively carrying out projects such as street tree pruning, city-funded projects to improve the growing environment of landscape areas, urban forest and street tree planting projects, and seasonal flower planting.
This project is characterized by establishing green infrastructure that meets the increasing demand for green spaces around living areas to provide a pleasant street environment for pedestrians and drivers, improve quality of life, and utilize leisure time accordingly.
This year, the county is promoting landscape creation projects that provide green living spaces for visitors and residents by creating one urban forest within the Cheese Theme Park, establishing four small flower beds, and planting king cherry trees along a 5 km street tree road at Okjeongho, thereby creating healing spaces and offering distinctive and beautiful street landscapes and a pleasant living environment.
Additionally, to allow people to see flowers throughout the four seasons in various parts of the region, colorful flowers with clear hues such as petunia, viola, and daisy, as well as vertical flowers, will be planted in city flower boxes and flower beds to provide a refreshing experience for viewers.
