Yuyu Pharma announced on the 4th that it conducted such an industry-academia project with Kyung Hee University's College of International Studies and Graduate School of International Studies.
The project involved students of various nationalities, including Chinese and Russian, brainstorming overseas commercialization strategies for Yuyu Pharma's major pharmaceuticals and health functional foods. Accordingly, students from Kyung Hee University's College of International Studies and Graduate School of International Studies conducted market analysis for each overseas country, identified local competing products, and derived marketing and distribution strategies for Yuyu Pharma's representative health functional foods such as 'Gwanjeol&Good', 'Mo&Good', and 'Man&Good'.
At the final presentation attended by a total of 12 teams, various local commercialization strategies were proposed, including local social network service (SNS) marketing operation plans and analysis of online and offline distribution channels. A cash prize was awarded to the best team through evaluation.
Sehoon Park, head of Yuyu Pharma's export team, said, "We are actively considering applying the global commercialization ideas obtained through this industry-academia collaboration to export operations," adding, "We plan to continue collaborating with students from Kyung Hee University's College of International Studies and Graduate School of International Studies in the future."
