According to GS Caltex on the 4th, He was appointed as the chairman of the board at the board meeting and regular general shareholders' meeting held on the 25th of last month.
He has been leading GS Caltex as President and CEO since 2019. With He Jin-su, who had served as the chairman of the board for three years, handing over the position to He, it is analyzed that the full-fledged 4th generation management system will begin.
In 2016, He Dong-soo, then Chairman of GS Caltex, stepped down from the GS Caltex board of directors and passed the chairmanship of the board to his cousin, He Jin-su, Vice Chairman of GS Caltex. Vice Chairman He Jin-su served as chairman of the board for a total of six years, including taking on the role of GS Caltex chairman from the following year. The chairmanship is now being passed back to He Se-hong, the eldest son of Honorary Chairman He Dong-soo and nephew of He Jin-su.
