KMI Korea Medical Institute Provides Free Comprehensive Health Checkups to 300 National Merit Recipients
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] KMI Korea Medical Institute announced on the 4th that it will carry out a social contribution project in cooperation with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to provide comprehensive health check-up medical services free of charge to national merit recipients and their families.
This social contribution project was promoted to honor the noble achievements of national merit recipients who devoted themselves to the country with a strong sense of duty and spirit of sacrifice, and to help boost their morale, maintain their health, and stabilize their lives.
KMI Korea Medical Institute provides comprehensive health check-ups free of charge to national merit recipients and their immediate families, and if diagnosed with a serious disease based on the check-up results, treatment costs will be supported up to a maximum limit of 20 million KRW over three years. The total number of free check-ups is 300, and comprehensive health check-ups will be conducted at seven KMI health screening centers nationwide (Gwanghwamun, Yeouido, Gangnam, Suwon, Daegu, Busan, Gwangju) until June.
