Gyeongsang National University Announces Recruitment for This Year’s ‘Top Agricultural Manager Course’ Trainees
Recruiting 140 Students, 20 Each for 7 Courses at Gajwa and Chilam Campuses
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Agricultural Science Education Center at Gyeongsang National University is recruiting students for this year's 'Top Agricultural Manager Course' for farmers in the Gyeongnam region.
This course has been operating advanced training programs by crop since 1994 to cultivate elite personnel who will lead future agriculture, and has produced 2,752 top agricultural managers to date.
The Gajwa Campus offers four majors: agricultural product processing, fermented foods, facility vegetables (tomato), and Korean beef, while the Chilam Campus offers three majors: facility strawberries, facility peppers and tomatoes, and cucurbit crops.
The course is scheduled to start in mid-April, with 5-hour classes once a week combining theory and field trip practice, totaling 140 hours over 28 weeks.
Each course has 20 students. The tuition fee is 2,038,000 KRW, with 1,426,000 KRW subsidized by the city and province, and the students' self-payment is 612,000 KRW.

Farmers in Gyeongnam Province, representatives or executives of producer organizations who wish to participate in the training should submit an application form to the agricultural department of each city or county agricultural technology center by the 11th.
