In particular, in the economic sector, key issues raised included carbon regulations and energy transition, supply chain instability, and vulnerabilities in domestic critical energy infrastructure facilities.
President Moon emphasized, "The global security environment is rapidly changing. Recently, new and complex security crises have emerged, and it is extremely important to establish strategic plans on how to respond and overcome them."
He added, "Alongside traditional military security, new security crises potentially caused by AI and pandemics have emerged, and related ministries and experts have continuously discussed these issues. Today, we are sharing the summarized results."
President Moon diagnosed, "The current security landscape is very complex. With the occurrence of the pandemic, competition to lead supply chains and to preempt and maintain emerging technologies continues."
