The enthusiasm for Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) is heating up. Each NFT has uniqueness and rarity, allowing ownership of a personal work in a digital world flooded with Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. However, unfamiliar terminology makes it seem like a distant story to the general public. In this situation, 'Ground X,' a Kakao blockchain affiliate, and its NFT creation service Crafterspace are gaining attention. It is relatively easy to create and sell NFTs here, encouraging even beginners to try.
To create and sell NFTs, you must log in to Crafterspace. For this, a Kaikas account, a cryptocurrency wallet service, is required. After downloading, install it as a Chrome browser extension and follow the instructions to create an account to log in.
The issuance process is simple. Click 'Issue NFT' on the homepage to upload image or video files. After entering background color, name, description, etc., click issue to complete. Up to 10 NFTs can be issued per day. Clicking 'My NFT' at the top of the homepage allows viewing owned and issued NFTs.
For sales, access OpenSea, the world's largest NFT marketplace. Due to the technical integration of OpenSea and Ground X's blockchain Klaytn, NFTs created on Crafterspace can be traded here. Click the wallet icon at the top right of OpenSea's homepage to see a list of cryptocurrency wallet services; select Kaikas to connect. Then click the profile icon to the left of the wallet icon to see issued NFTs. Click an NFT and then click 'Sell' at the top right to sell it.
NFTs created on Crafterspace can be sold in WKALY units (approximately 1,462 KRW). The fee is 2.5% of the set price. WKALY refers to a cryptocurrency converted from KALY (Klay), the cryptocurrency circulated on Klaytn, for circulation on external networks.
When selling for the first time, Kaikas and OpenSea must be linked. During this process, about 0.002 WKALY must be paid to OpenSea as authentication. To do this, KALY must be transferred to the Kaikas wallet. Among domestic cryptocurrency exchanges, KLAY can be purchased on Coinone. However, if cryptocurrency trading is difficult on Coinone, registration and verification may take considerable time. The reporter ultimately failed authentication and received a transfer from an acquaintance who had KALY. If not using an exchange, OpenSea allows credit card payment with a minimum amount set at 40,000 KRW.

Once KALY is owned in the Kaikas wallet, the subsequent process is simple. Clicking the payment button automatically converts the received KALY to WKALY, completes the payment, and authentication. Then the NFT is registered on the marketplace and sales begin.
