Gwangju Seo-gu Strives to Eliminate 'Welfare Gaps'... Launches Development of AI-Based Integrated Platform
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Dae-seok) has embarked on the development of an integrated platform utilizing AI to eliminate welfare gaps.
Seo-gu announced on the 2nd that it held a completion report meeting for the AI Intelligent Integrated Care Model Construction Design Service.
The "AI Intelligent Integrated Care Model Construction Project" aims to develop an integrated platform to effectively link and operate the status and data of AI care projects dispersed across various departments and to provide demand-centered customized services.
In June last year, Seo-gu was selected for the "2021 Ministry of the Interior and Safety Local Government Collaboration Special Grant Support Project," securing a special grant of 200 million KRW. In December, after collecting opinions from related departments, the design service began, and through several consultations, the final platform plan was prepared.
The platform aims to build an integrated database based on data from the community integrated care elderly needs assessment tool to understand the operational status by service and target, and to establish a communication and collaboration system between departments.
Additionally, it plans to commercialize in the second half of 2022 by building a user-centered integrated channel that provides interview records and schedule sharing functions for stakeholders such as the service recipients, guardians, and life managers.
A Seo-gu official said, "Based on continuous collaboration with related departments and welfare workers, we will build an integrated platform and become a Gwangju Seo-gu type health and welfare AI care standard model that can be expanded to local governments nationwide."
