Road Traffic Authority Hosts Driving License Written Test Question Contest
[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Jo] The Korea Road Traffic Authority announced on the 2nd that it will hold the '2022 National Participation Contest for Driving License Written Test Questions' until June 24.
The driving license written test question contest aims to gather public opinions to reflect the changing traffic environment. Questions are being solicited on all possible topics. The detailed example topics suggested by the Authority include ▲eco-friendly vehicles such as electric cars and hydrogen cars ▲the 'Pedestrian Priority Road' system ▲compliance requirements when making right turns at intersections ▲compliance requirements for PM (Personal Mobility), two-wheeled vehicles, and bicycle drivers ▲safe driving tips through compliance with recently revised Road Traffic Act and regulations.

Anyone can participate in the contest through the Authority's website. Selected questions will be used in the driving license written test question bank. The contest results will be announced on the Authority's website in August. Nam Taekhwa, head of the Driving License Headquarters at the Authority, said, "We hope for active interest and participation in the written test question bank contest, which anyone can directly participate in, to foster a traffic culture of eco-friendliness (E), considerate driving (S), and legal compliance (G), and to prevent traffic accidents."
