20s Man Arrested for Detaining and Sexually Assaulting Runaway Middle School Girl
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 20s who confined a runaway female middle school student in his home and sexually assaulted her has been booked by the police.
Seoul Gangseo Police Station announced on the 1st that they have booked and are investigating a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of confinement and violation of the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.
It is known that on the 21st of last month, Mr. A lured the victim, a female middle school student he met online, to his home, confined her, and sexually assaulted her multiple times.

The police conducted a victim interview with the female middle school student and referred her to the Sexual Violence Victim Support Center. Mr. A's custody will be handled according to the investigation results.
