This project is a policy to help unemployed youth in the province who are struggling due to the prolonged job preparation period caused by the economic downturn and employment reduction from the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), by providing expenses so they can focus on job-seeking activities and facilitate social entry.
A monthly allowance of 500,000 KRW will be provided for up to 4 months, totaling a maximum of 2,000,000 KRW. Any unemployed job-seeking youth aged 18 to 34 residing in Gyeongnam, whose household income is 150% or less of the median income, can apply.
Applicants can apply through Gyeongnam Baro Service by the 18th of next month, and final supported youth will be selected through a comprehensive review of household income, graduation date, and other factors.
