Jungjingong Strengthens Online Non-Face-to-Face Training for SME Employees
Providing Over 900 E-Learning Courses and More Than 2,200 Microlearning Contents
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 27th that it will strengthen the non-face-to-face training environment by expanding various online training courses necessary for employees of small and medium enterprises, such as e-learning and microlearning. E-learning courses will be expanded to 900 courses within the first half of the year, and microlearning will be provided with 2,200 contents within the first quarter.
Since 2000, SBC has supported the development of human capabilities and competitiveness of employees in small and medium enterprises through e-learning training. Currently, it operates 680 courses, including about 180 smart technology job courses, about 120 management job courses, and about 50 liberal arts courses. This year, edutech manufacturing technology courses incorporating 3D and virtual reality (VR) technologies, as well as certification courses preferred in small and medium venture business sites such as industrial safety engineers, will be newly introduced.
Microlearning, introduced last September, has secured an additional 1,200 contents, providing a total of 2,200 contents. Employees can learn the latest trends such as entrepreneurship, which is attracting attention as a new value creation engine in the COVID-19 era, ESG (environment, social, and governance) management for sustainable management practice, and digital transformation through short video contents of about 10 minutes by utilizing spare time during commuting.
