[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] A man in his 40s was booked by the police for assaulting volunteers during an election campaign due to the noise.
According to the police on the 26th, a man in his 40s, Mr. A, who assaulted two volunteers of Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party of Korea candidate, near Nowon Station in Seoul around 7 p.m. the previous day, was arrested on the spot for violating the Public Official Election Act.
It was also reported that another citizen who tried to stop the assault at the scene was assaulted by Mr. A.
