Chosun University Produces 4,077 Graduates in the First Semester of 2021 Academic Year
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Chosun University has produced 4,077 graduates for the first semester of the 2021 academic year.
According to Chosun University on the 25th, the graduates for the first semester of the 2021 academic year include 3,834 bachelor's degree recipients, 158 master's degree recipients from the general graduate school, and 85 doctoral degree recipients.
The degree conferment ceremony was not held in person due to strengthened quarantine measures following the spread of Omicron and was replaced with an online event.
Starting with a commemorative speech by President Min Young-don, Chairman Kim Yi-su, Chosun University Alumni Association President Lee Min-su, National Assembly members Yoon Young-duk, Lee Hyung-seok, Seo Sam-seok, Gwangju Superintendent of Education Jang Hwi-guk, alumnus Choi Gap-ryeol (CEO of Samil Construction), Graduate School Dean Jeong Jin-cheol, and deans of each college participated to congratulate the graduating students.
Additionally, the distribution of academic gowns and diplomas for photo sessions was conducted by each college in compliance with quarantine guidelines.
