Wildfire in Changwon Extinguished After Over 10 Hours... Property Damage of 11 Million Won

According to the Changwon City Fire Headquarters on the 25th, the fire broke out around 9:05 PM the previous night in a mountain area near Geungok Reservoir, Jinjeon-myeon, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon.
The fire authorities deployed 7 firefighting helicopters, 39 pieces of equipment, and about 370 personnel, and completely extinguished the fire around 7:30 AM that day.
The fire burned pine trees and other vegetation over 4.8 hectares from the mid-mountain area to around the peak, causing an estimated property damage of about 11 million KRW.
Thirteen residents of nearby villages evacuated to local community centers and have since returned home. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
