A Man in His 50s Attempts Self-Immolation at People Power Party Central Office... Police Booked
[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Jo] The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul is investigating a man in his 50s who attempted self-immolation after entering the People Power Party Central Office in Yeouido carrying an inflammable substance.
According to the police on the 25th, Mr. A is suspected of attempting self-immolation at the support committee office on the 2nd floor of the People Power Party Central Office at around 1:20 PM the previous day. During the attempt, Mr. A was subdued by a party official of the People Power Party, and the attempt was unsuccessful. Mr. A was subsequently handed over to the police and is under investigation on charges of special trespassing.
