[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Ambassadors of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) member countries held an emergency meeting on the 24th (local time) to discuss responses to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
According to foreign media, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that Russia's invasion is a "serious violation of international law and a grave threat to European and Atlantic security," and said that response measures would be discussed at this meeting.
Some NATO member countries will supply weapons, ammunition, and other equipment to Ukraine, but NATO itself will not initiate any military action to support Ukraine, foreign media reported.
