US Senator: "Russian Attack Matched US Predictions"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] U.S. senators said that Russia's invasion unfolding in Ukraine aligns with the United States' expectations, CNN reported on the 24th (local time).
Marco Rubio, the top Republican on the Intelligence Committee, wrote on his social media, "Russia is conducting a full-scale and comprehensive military assault across Ukraine."
He explained, "There have been airborne and amphibious operations, missile strikes by the air force, ground forces, and navy, electronic and cyber attacks, and large-scale ground troop assaults," adding, "Russian airborne troops are also attempting to seize Kyiv airport."
