Democratic Party 2030 Election Committee Joins 'Blood Donation Relay'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Democratic Party's 2030 Youth Election Committee is launching a blood donation relay to overcome the blood shortage caused by Omicron.
The Dynamite Gwangju Headquarters The Returns, a youth election committee directly under candidate Lee Jae-myung composed of 2030 youths, and the Gwangju Gi-eon-chi Election Committee announced on the 24th that they will hold a blood donation relay in front of the Red Cross blood donation bus at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Seo-gu, Gwangju.
About 50 youths, including The Returns and the youth election committee chairpersons of the Gwangju election committee, are expected to participate in the blood donation relay, which will continue until 4:30 PM, and any citizens who wish to join the blood donation can participate.
This event was organized to encourage participation in blood donation as the rapid spread of Omicron sharply reduced blood donors nationwide, causing the national blood supply to fall well below the appropriate level of five days.
