KB Kookmin Bank to Launch 'Digital Branch' at No Brand Gangnam Terminal Store

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] KB Kookmin Bank is partnering with Emart to open a digital store within No Brand (NB).
KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 24th that it plans to open a digital partnership store called 'KB Digital Bank NB Gangnam Terminal Branch' with Emart in April.
The KB Digital Bank will be newly established at the Emart No Brand Gangnam Terminal Branch located inside the Express Bus Terminal Station, which has a high foot traffic, and will operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Utilizing KB Kookmin Bank's customer contact channels such as Smart Teller Machines (STM) and video consultation exclusive counters, it will enable transactions at the level of a branch office counter. The bank also plans to introduce a new store design concept featuring a camping car-style booth to provide an urban relaxation experience.
At KB Digital Bank, customers can use the STM from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for transactions that are difficult to perform through non-face-to-face channels, such as cash and check deposits and withdrawals, check card issuance, and issuance of security cards and card-type OTPs. At the video consultation exclusive counter, customers can directly handle transactions such as opening deposit and withdrawal accounts, subscribing to new savings and deposit products, and registering or canceling internet banking services through video consultations with professional advisors without visiting a branch, enhancing customer convenience.
