Over 5,118 Children Supported with Elementary School Entrance Stationery Sets Over 10 Years

[Asia Economy Reporter Shim Nayoung] Shinhan Bank announced on the 24th that it has delivered stationery sets to children entering elementary school at childcare facilities affiliated with the Korea Child Welfare Association.
Amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on face-to-face classes, to celebrate elementary school entrance, Shinhan Bank provided stationery sets consisting of 18 items including sketchbooks, notebooks, pencil cases, and jump ropes to 553 children at 175 childcare facilities nationwide through the Korea Child Welfare Association.
Since 2013, Shinhan Bank employees have voluntarily donated through the in-house donation program "Good Day Good Donation," which is funded by personal milestones such as promotions and birthdays. To date, entrance gifts have been provided to 5,118 children entering elementary school. This year, considering the worsening spread of COVID-19, COVID-19 self-test kits were also delivered to 28 childcare facilities nationwide.
