Signs of Russian Troop Buildup Within 16km of Ukraine Border Detected
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] Major foreign media reported on the 23rd (local time) that satellite images captured signs of a large number of Russian troops being additionally deployed in the western region of Russia near the Ukraine border.
American satellite company Maxar released related photos taken on the same day, stating that a significant portion of the newly deployed Russian troops are located within 10 miles (approximately 16 km) of the Ukraine border. The photos show soldiers along with infantry armored vehicles, howitzers, transport, and support vehicles. The location captured is known to be less than 80 km from Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine.

However, local media and others have not independently confirmed whether Russian forces have been reinforced near the Ukraine border as Maxar announced.
