Paul Bassett Raises Prices for the First Time in 9 Years... Joins Starbucks and Twosome Place in Price Increase Trend
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Coffee specialty store Paul Bassett is raising product prices for the first time in 9 years since 2013.
Maeil Dairies announced on the 23rd that starting from the 1st of next month, Paul Bassett will increase the prices of 42 products by 200 to 500 won each.
The price of an Americano will rise from 4,300 won to 4,700 won, and a Lungo will increase from 4,700 won to 4,900 won. Ice cream will go up from 3,500 won to 3,700 won per item.
Paul Bassett explained that the price increase was made considering the rising costs of coffee beans and raw materials, labor costs, and store rent.
