Fostering New Industries in the Digital Sector, Supporting Companies, Assisting Global Market Entry, and Training Digital Professionals
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Digital Foundation announced on the 24th that it signed a business agreement with the Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency (DIP) on the 23rd to promote digital development.
The business agreement ceremony held at the Daegu Suseong Alpha City SW Convergence Technology Support Center was attended by key officials from both organizations, including Kang Yo-sik, Chairman of the Seoul Digital Foundation, and Kim Yoo-hyun, Director of the Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency.
This agreement specifically plans to cooperate on ▲ fostering new industries in the digital sector ▲ supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies related to digital technology ▲ supporting entry into the global market ▲ nurturing digital professionals. In particular, the foundation plans to support corporate growth through collaboration based on its global marketing capabilities from operating the CES Seoul Pavilion and its experience running the Seoul Smart City Center.
Kang Yo-sik, Chairman of the Seoul Digital Foundation, said, “Through this agreement, we have established a cooperative foundation for digital companies in Seoul and Daegu to grow together. We will work together to quickly embrace technological changes such as the metaverse and NFTs and to discover new growth engines.”
