Jeju Coast Guard - Jeju Do Drone Co., Ltd. Join Hands to Train Skilled Professionals

The Jeju Maritime Police Agency announced that although a business agreement ceremony was scheduled to be held on the 23rd at the Ara Hall on the 3rd floor of the National Police Agency, due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, the agreement for "Promoting the Training of Drone Professionals for Accident Prevention in Jeju Waters" was signed non-face-to-face.
Jeju Do Drone Co., Ltd. is a drone specialized education institution designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, operating in various fields such as professional personnel training, drone sales, rental, and A/S.
This business agreement was promoted to foster drone professionals and prevent accidents in Jeju waters through mutual cooperation by sharing specialized technology and information about drones and conducting education and training to strengthen drone operation capabilities.
The main cooperation items of the agreement include ▲ sharing specialized drone technology information and matters related to education and training ▲ matters related to theoretical and practical education to strengthen drone operation capabilities ▲ on-site education in areas such as Jeju coastal waters through experts ▲ matters related to improvement and maintenance of drone-related equipment.
Kim Inchang, Chief of Jeju Maritime Police Agency, said, "Through mutual cooperation with Jeju Do Drone Co., Ltd. through this agreement, we will build a future-leading drone professional infrastructure and further strengthen on-site response capabilities using drones to do our best to create a safe Jeju sea."
