Record High COVID-19 Cases in Military... South Korea-US Cumulative Total Exceeds 20,000
[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu, Military Specialist Reporter] The number of COVID-19 cases within the military increased by 767, pushing the cumulative confirmed cases among South Korean and U.S. military personnel past 20,000. This is the largest single-day increase in confirmed cases within our military.
According to the Ministry of National Defense on the 23rd, the new confirmed cases were 510 in the Army, 60 in the Navy, 55 in the Marine Corps, and 86 in the Air Force. More than 10 additional confirmed cases were reported in four Army units and one Air Force unit.
