[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yongsan-gu (Mayor Seongjang Hyun) has created a Taegukgi Street along a 710m section near Hyochang Park Entrance Station on Subway Line 6 to commemorate the 103rd anniversary of the March 1st Movement.
This was done to celebrate the March 1st Movement and honor the spirit of independence activists in a situation where holding a commemorative ceremony is difficult due to COVID-19.
The district raised 35 street flags along the roadside using streetlights over a 510m section from Hyochang Park Entrance Station to the entrance of Hyochang Park, and planted 30 Taegukgi trees over a 200m section near the entrance of Hyochang Park.
The Taegukgi Street can be visited until March 6.
