Gyeongbuk Gimcheon-si, Stepping Stone Project for Technology Growth of Small and Medium Enterprises
R&D Consulting and Certification Costs, Up to 9 Million Won Supported Per Company
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gimcheon City, Gyeongbuk Province, announced on the 23rd that it will implement the Didimdol Project to strengthen the technological capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) struggling with research and development (R&D) due to a lack of technical personnel or funds.
The "SME Technology Growth Didimdol Project" carried out by Gimcheon City supports companies in securing the necessary funds when selecting government R&D public project proposals by encouraging their interest in research and development.
It also supports costs for systematic consulting by professional institutions, Inno-Biz and Main-Biz certification, patent applications, and the establishment of dedicated departments for company-affiliated research institutes and research organizations.
The support target is manufacturing SMEs with business sites in Gimcheon, and a total project budget of 200 million KRW will provide up to 9 million KRW per company.

Companies wishing to participate in the project can apply by visiting, mailing, or emailing the Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Promotion Agency from the 17th of this month until the 8th of next month, in consortium with a consulting firm.
