LG Energy Solution to Be Newly Included in Major Indices Such as KOSPI 200
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] LG Energy Solution will be newly included in major indices such as KOSPI 200.
The Korea Exchange announced on the 22nd that LG Energy Solution meets the criteria for special inclusion due to its new listing and will be included in the KOSPI 200 index, while Dongwon F&B will be excluded.
LG Energy Solution will also be included in KOSPI 100, KOSPI 50, and KRX 100, with Shinsegae, LG Uplus, and GS Retail being excluded from these indices respectively. The date for the index component changes is set for the 11th of next month.
The Exchange also announced on the 18th that Osstem Implant, a KOSDAQ-listed company, will be excluded from eight indices including KOSDAQ 150 and KRX 300 due to its designation as a management item.
Osstem Implant will be removed from three indices including KOSDAQ 150, and Caregen will be included. Previously, Osstem Implant was subject to a substantial review of listing eligibility and was designated as a management item on the 18th.

The Exchange stated that if trading suspension continues for 15 trading days (until March 15) from the day after the management item designation, the company will be excluded from the indices on March 16. If trading resumes within 15 trading days, exclusion from the indices will occur the day after two trading days have passed since the resumption date.
