The regional win-win type ready meal was promoted based on a business agreement between Pohang City and BGF Retail to expand sales channels for local agricultural products and increase farmers' income.
To deliver excellent agricultural specialties to customers, the BGF Retail product development team directly visited local farms in each region and developed the product after researching the quality of raw materials and dozens of recipes.
Pohang City plans to sign a "business agreement to activate the use of local agricultural products and enhance the quality reliability of CU ready meals" with BGF Retail on March 4.
This ready meal is expected to revitalize the stagnant local economy and further upgrade the quality of CU ready meals. By inserting Pohang City's landmarks on the front of the released product, they also plan to establish a new promotional channel to promote major tourist attractions in Pohang nationwide.
