[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Wooseok] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon criticized the presidential candidates from both the Democratic Party and the People Power Party, saying "Neither of the two are qualified."
On the 21st, Jin appeared on CBS Radio's 'Hanpan Seungbu' and said, "(Although the presidential election process) was filled with negativity, there was a primary process, then debates, and some level of verification," adding, "In my view, both candidates (Lee Jae-myung and Yoon Seok-yeol) are unqualified."
Regarding the strong campaign remarks of the presidential candidates, he pointed out, "You can tell by listening to what they say. Are these words that should come from presidential candidates?" and criticized, "There should be dignity and decorum, but as a citizen, I am truly embarrassed."
He continued, "It seems they are focusing on their ardent supporters, but the Democratic Party failed because of that, and they are diligently following the path of failure," and added, "I am more worried about the post-election period than the election itself."
Jin expressed, "There is little to listen to among the long (campaign) speeches," and said, "Watch the advertisement that candidate Roh Moo-hyun released in 2002. At the end, it says, 'Candidate Lee Hoe-chang, Candidate Kwon Young-gil, thank you for your efforts.' Such composure, such dignity, such refinement (are not seen now). It is very vulgar."
He commented on candidate Lee Jae-myung's 'breaking the wooden board' campaign, saying, "Why wear a taekwondo uniform and break a wooden board? It's not wrong, but I don't understand why he does it."

He then analyzed, "(Candidate Yoon Seok-yeol's uppercut ceremony) was probably done spontaneously," and said, "The problem with candidate Lee Jae-myung is that he keeps imitating. When someone does something first, he follows afterward, and it goes like that."
