Jeonnam Province Encourages Staff at Mokpo City Home Care Support Counseling Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Province announced on the 21st that it visited the Mokpo City Home Care Support Counseling Center to observe the on-site response situation and encourage the response personnel.
This on-site visit was carried out in response to the continuous occurrence of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Mokpo.
On the previous day alone, 283 people were confirmed in Mokpo, with a total of 2,070 confirmed cases in Jeonnam. Currently, there are 1,344 home treatment patients in the Jeonnam area.
On that day, the province visited the Mokpo City Home Care Support Counseling Center to provide detailed guidance to resolve the flood of questions arising from the reorganization of the home treatment system, and urged prompt response by linking with 119 in case of nighttime emergencies for home treatment patients.
They then listened to the difficulties faced by medical staff and public officials responding to COVID-19 on site and expressed gratitude for their hard work.

A Jeonnam Province official said, “We appreciate the role of minimizing inconveniences related to home treatment and alleviating vague anxieties of residents through professional and kind counseling,” adding, “As the number of home treatment patients increases, the role of the counseling center becomes more important, so we will carefully examine the on-site difficulties.”
