Attempt to Break Down Boundaries Between TV Broadcasting and Live Commerce
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] Gongyoung Home Shopping announced on the 21st that it will launch and broadcast 'Double Live,' which simultaneously conducts TV sales broadcasts and mobile live commerce called 'Gongyoung Labang' in one location.
On the 22nd and 23rd at 5:40 PM, Gongyoung Home Shopping plans to simultaneously conduct TV sales broadcasts and live commerce in one studio during the 'TV Hanaro Mart' and 'Eorap Show' time slots.
'Double Live' sells large-volume products on TV and smaller portioned products for single-person households through 'Gongyoung Labang' using the same product. The company explains that this complements the limitations of TV home shopping product configurations, which are typically large-volume, and expands sales channels for small business products.
The hosts of the TV broadcast and live commerce will organically communicate during the live broadcast, attempting to break down the boundaries between TV and live commerce. There will also be time to ask and answer questions about products through real-time communication, which is an advantage of live commerce.
This year, Gongyoung Home Shopping, which has promoted a 'mobile-first' policy, continues efforts to activate live commerce. On the 24th of last month, it introduced 'TV Gongyoung Labang,' which broadcasts live commerce on TV.
