Seoul Startup Cafe Successfully Concludes '1st Idea Commercialization Presentation Contest'
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dong-hyun] The '1st Idea Commercialization Presentation Contest (SHOW ME THE ITEM),' jointly hosted by Seoul Startup Cafe and the team-building platform Beginmate, has successfully concluded.
The 1st Idea Commercialization Presentation Contest attracted about 70 applicants, targeting startups, prospective entrepreneurs, and early-stage entrepreneurs who wish to validate their ideas, receive expert coaching, and obtain commercialization support.
Final participants were selected through a first-round written evaluation process. The selected participants presented their business models at the Idea Commercialization Presentation Contest and had the opportunity to receive idea validation and coaching from experts.
Participants selected in the final presentation contest receive opportunities such as participation in the linked program 'Pitching Skill-Up Day' and optional support within the commercialization support fund. 'Pitching Skill-Up Day' is a program that provides pitching coaching to improve presentation skills and feedback support, allowing participants to strengthen their capabilities.
Jo Yeon-su, CEO of B-Marin, who achieved excellent results at the 1st Idea Commercialization Presentation Contest (Sinchon branch), said, "Validating ideas is a very important and essential process," adding, "I hope to achieve excellent results in the next programs, Pitching Skill-Up Day and the pitching competition, and gain opportunities for further growth through commercialization support and investment linkage benefits."
Meanwhile, Ha Sung-yong, CEO of Gogo F&D, who achieved excellent results at the 1st Idea Commercialization Presentation Contest (Soongsil University Entrance Station branch), said, "Participating in a program supporting startups and presenting at an IR presentation, as well as receiving feedback from judges, was very helpful," and added, "I hope to participate in the upcoming Pitching Skill-Up Day to improve my pitching skills and capabilities."
The Idea Commercialization Presentation Contest is a program held on the 1st and 3rd weeks of every month at Seoul Startup Cafe Sinchon branch and Soongsil University Entrance Station branch, and applications for the '2nd and 3rd Idea Commercialization Presentation Contests' are currently being accepted.
