View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Sunmi Park] LG Electronics announced on the 20th that it will launch a new LG UltraGear gaming speaker optimized for gaming sound quality as well as various convenient features.
The newly introduced product this year (model name: GP3) features significantly reduced price burden while maintaining the acoustic performance of LG Electronics' premium gaming speaker (model name: GP9).
The new product is equipped with a built-in microphone, allowing gamers playing together to have voice conversations without separate headset equipment. In addition, the clear voice chat function applying echo-canceling technology distinguishes game sounds and voice, delivering the user's voice more clearly to the other party.
LG Electronics' independently developed 3D gaming sound technology separates and delivers the direction and volume of various sounds in the game, enhancing gaming immersion even without headset equipment. When the speaker is connected to a headset, it provides grand and immersive virtual 7.1 channel surround sound.
The neat all-in-one design is also an advantage. With a width of about 33cm, when installed together with the UltraGear gaming monitor, it harmonizes as if it were a single product. It supports wired and wireless connections such as USB-C and Bluetooth, and is equipped with a built-in battery that can be used for up to 6 hours, making it convenient to carry.
LG Electronics will sequentially launch the new LG UltraGear gaming speaker in major global markets including Korea starting on the 21st, North America, and Europe. Customers who purchase the product at nationwide stores including LG Electronics Best Shop and official online retailers by the 27th of this month can also receive purchase benefits worth approximately 30,000 KRW. The domestic shipment price of the new product is 299,000 KRW.
