The Ministry of National Defense announced on the 19th at 2 p.m. that 649 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed within the military.
The daily number of confirmed cases in the military exceeded 600 for the first time on the 18th with 639 cases, and has remained in the 600s for two consecutive days including this day.
The new confirmed cases by branch are as follows: Army 373, Navy 65, Marine Corps 61, Air Force 108, Ministry of National Defense direct units 36, Joint Chiefs of Staff 3, Combined Forces Command 2, and Ministry of National Defense 1.
