On the 18th, Megabox JoongAng Corp. Plus M announced, "'Seoul's Spring' has confirmed the casting of actors Hwang Jung-min, Jung Woo-sung, Lee Sung-min, Park Hae-joon, and Kim Sung-kyun, and began filming on the 17th."
Directed by Kim Sung-soo, who helmed films such as Asura, The Flu, No Mercy for the Rude, and Beat, Seoul's Spring depicts a major event that shook South Korea in the late 1970s.
The production is handled by Hive Media Corp., known for works like Inside Men, Secret Zoo, and Deliver Us from Evil.
