30s Man Who Destroyed Clothing Store Arrested as 'Drunk Hit-and-Run Suspect'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man in his 30s who smashed a clothing store and fled was caught by the police.
The Gangdong Police Station in Seoul received a report around 1 a.m. the previous day that a vehicle had crashed into a clothing store in Gildong and fled the scene.
Upon arriving at the accident site, the police found engine oil stains presumed to have fallen from the damaged vehicle and followed the trail to find the suspect asleep in a parked car about 500 meters away. At the time, the suspect was in a state of severe intoxication, with a breathalyzer result exceeding the license cancellation limit.
