Hyundai Card, Complete Overhaul of Digital Channels... Enhancing Convenience of PC and Mobile Web
Focus on Simplification and Customer Convenience
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hyundai Card announced on the 18th that it has significantly revamped its digital channels to enhance customer convenience.
The core of this Hyundai Card PC and mobile website overhaul is simplification and customer convenience. For the PC web, the user interface (UI), including homepage design, was completely redesigned to improve the user experience (UX) for Hyundai Card customers.
To this end, Hyundai Card reduced the amount of text on the PC web and increased the proportion of images. The number of menus displayed on the main screen was reduced from nine to six, and a banner using Hyundai Card credit card plate images was placed at the top to allow intuitive understanding of products and events. Additionally, text size was increased and the corporate font 'You&INew Variable Typeface' was applied to enhance readability.
Terms that were difficult to understand during the credit card application process were also changed to be simple and intuitive. Hyundai Card’s main products, known as General Purpose Credit Cards (GPCC), were labeled as 'Hyundai Originals,' and Private Label Credit Cards (PLCC) were labeled as 'Champion Brands' to make it easier for customers to recognize.
Many new features were also added. The 'Card Finder' feature helps customers find the card they want by selecting frequently used categories, setting an annual fee range, and choosing the desired benefit type, then recommending products suitable for the customer. Additionally, the 'Card Gallery' feature was added, which presents card plates as interactive images and videos.
Meanwhile, the mobile web, which serves as a channel for recruiting new customers, has removed the login function. Customers who wish to apply for a card can obtain a credit card by going through identity verification via ID and mobile phone without signing up or logging in. Furthermore, customers who want to use financial products such as short- and long-term card loans or non-member credit loans only need to complete identity verification through card, mobile phone, or certificate. Essential functions such as real-time chat consultation and theft/loss reporting are conveniently available on the mobile web.
