Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements Appoints Kim Taehwan, Director of National Balanced Development Center, as Vice President
The Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements announced on the 18th that it has appointed Kim Taehwan, Director of the National Balanced Development Center at the institute (photo), as Vice President effective from the 21st.
New Vice President Kim graduated from the Department of Geography at Seoul National University and earned a Ph.D. in Geography from Newcastle University in the UK. He has since served as Director of the Planning and Management Headquarters at the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements and as a member of the Central Urban Planning Committee at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
